My new favorite restaurant in all of Jefferson City, MO because of the Spudmagedon. Also in the top 2 for best hamburger in town (in my opinion). The Spudmagedon was enough for two but was so good that I didn't want to share. Great fish tacos. Great waffle chips. Chips and salsa. A small restaurant with huge flavor. Great comfort food choices, friendly service, with indoor and outdoor seating. Located on the East edge of Historic Downtown Jefferson City. Street parking only.

JQs staff is always friendly and patient. The food is fresh and the burgers are worth every penny. We have yet to find something on the menu that isn’t amazing. Don’t skip out on this. I’ve been told for a long time that their burgers are great and just tried one for the first time tonight. It’s everything in me not to go back and get another! I’d share a picture but I woofed it down before even thinking about it.

Although I do give 5 stars, I wouldnt say the food is mindblowing amazing. However, the special little perks of this place, such as great service and homemade chips, brings it up to a 5 through bonus points.

Food is amazing! I had the street corn nachos. I will definitely be ordering again. Dining area is extremely small. Hard metal chairs, and it was very cold in there today. We took our food to go and came home to eat. The only thing that would make it better would be a larger, more comfortable dining area, and fountain sodas. (I don't care for canned soda at all.)

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE...There was a miscommunication regarding my order. I opted to leave instead of wait until the order was prepared. As I was leaving, a co- owner asked was everything ok. I stated yes, but honestly, I was a bit irritated. The gentleman was amazing and insisted, truly insisted he make things right. He stated he would and did give me a gift card for my troubles. He also brought out the order, and today, several days after getting the card, I looked at the value and I was pleasantly surprised. Some follow set standards, other establish the bar. Thanks

A quick Google search steered us to JQ’s On High for lunch on our trip through Jeff City. We had wings and nachos. Hands down the best wings I’ve ever had! We enjoyed our food at one of the sidewalk tables and the staff were friendly. Will definitely go back next time we are in town.

JQ’s is really good food, I heard people come from near and far to enjoy it. It’s a must try. The smoked chicken wings sell out fast so hurry in to get them. The staff is so friendly like being with friends. Not a lot of places to sit. It’s very small yet. They do have outdoor seating. I’m sure a bigger restaurant will be coming soon.

The philly cheesteak nachos were delicious. Also enjoyed the tater tacos, a serious upgrade from the ole' Taco Bell fiesta potatoes. The extensive gluten free options were a welcome find. Gluten free is a need for our house and can be a challenge to find dining out. Very pleasant staff. Loved the atmosphere. Will have to come again to enjoy the patio seating.
